Jeremy Miller...
Jeremy Miller grew up in Pendleton, Oregon. Growing up, he always participated in music programs and was very involved in athletics. Jeremy's first love was basketball, he played all over the West Coast. Jeremy had always been the tallest guy on the team...until 6th grade at least... then the players started towering over him. When High School ended, Jeremy made a decision to take on music as his number one hobby. Jeremy has always been around music. His dad (David Miller) directed Concert Choir and Blue Jazz at Blue Mountain Community College for 27 years. He helped guide and coach Jeremy's vocal skills for many years. In high school, Jeremy sang all four years in the concert and jazz choirs as well as All-State Choir and All Northwest Choirs. His junior year, Jeremy performed in his first a cappella group, "Sometimes Five." Jeremy's ultimate goal was to entertain the audience and hoped that they loved the music as much as he did.
After High School, Jeremy attended Blue Mountain Community College where he was actively involved in the music department both in the choirs and helping with sound production. Jeremy has sung both bass and tenor as well as vocal percussion and has been involved in several a cappella groups. In his first year of college, Jeremy started a group called, "Absolutely Nobody." Absolutely Nobody performed all over the Northwest and opened for The Blenders and The Coats. Four years ago Jeremy was in an a cappella group, Second Chance, which won First Place at the Northwest Harmony Sweepstakes and later competed at Harmony Sweepstakes National Finals in San Rafael, CA. Second Chance also shared stage with The Coats, The Alley Cats, The Knudsen Bros, M-pact, The Standards, Groove For Thought, Tongue Tied, Idea of North, and The Persuasions. Second Chance ended their time entertaining together with sold out crowds performing two weekends of the musical, Forever Plaid. In addition to all of Jeremy's musical background, he also attended Seattle Art Instititute
for audio engineering and then Ashmead where he received his massage therapy education. Jeremy is so excited to be performing at the Nationals again with V-Chords!
Jeremy has been married to Hope for seven years and now has a 7 month old son, Ryan. Jeremy and Hope first met at Oregon All-State Choir where Jeremy's dad introduced them. Hope is currently singing in the Portland Christian Center Choir and Worship Team, where their family attends.
